At the Society of Palliative Care Advocacy, Training and Education (SPATE), we are committed to building the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals through structured learning and practical training in palliative care.
Our educational programmes cover all levels — from medical and nursing undergraduates to postgraduates and professionals seeking continuous development in palliative and related fields.
Working closely with universities, healthcare institutions, and partner organisations, we organise workshops, seminars, and attachment programmes that strengthen both clinical competence and compassionate care.
These sessions are open to healthcare professionals, students, caregivers, and members of the public who wish to deepen their understanding and involvement in palliative care.
We are committed to advancing the understanding and practice of palliative care through meaningful research. Our focus lies in exploring innovative approaches, evaluating the effectiveness of care models, and identifying the needs of patients, families, and healthcare providers. Through evidence-based inquiry, we aim to inform policy, enhance clinical practice, and strengthen the foundation of palliative care across
